Halloween is the coolest holiday, that, frankly doesn’t last long enough. As a kid I was obsessed with all things creepy, spooky, and mysterious… even if it wasn’t quite age appropriate (ft. my CSI obsession since age 6).
When I was 7, I BEGGED my mom to let me be Cousin Itt from the Addams Family. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find wigs long enough to sew together (this was before online shopping was normal). So I went as Morticia Addams instead, and everyone said I was “such a pretty little witch” to which I would promptly reply “I’M MORTICIA” and run away.
Now, instead of yelling at people who don’t understand my weirdness, I embrace it. Whether with my clothes or fun and creepy recipes like this super easy one.
What you’ll need:
Rice Krispie Treats ( you can make your own or buy prepackaged)
How It All Comes Together
Step 1: Make your Rice Krispie treats or unpack them (like I did).
Step 2: Put your Candy Melts in a bowl and microwave on thirty second intervals. Stir after they cook and make sure to be careful because the bowl will be hot!
Step 3: Dip your treats into the candy melts halfway and apply the eyeballs!
Now all thats left to do is enjoy! I always do all my grocery shopping at Kroger which is were you can get all the supplies I used in this super easy recipe!
