Let me start by saying that if there is a heaven on earth, Antelope Island is it. I wish we’d visited earlier in our trip because I probably would have demanded we go back every day and watch the sun set over the Great Salt Lake that surrounded the island. It was almost magical how pure everything was there. Bison, Antelope, and Deer all roamed free and the land was untouched except for a few roads to help you find trails. I was like a dog with my head out the window the whole time staring at the view. The lake has a mirror-like effect, so the mountains were reflected perfectly on the still water, and the sky was in a permanent state of hazy golden hour sunset.
It’s no secret that I love a good bell sleeve. So this Free People Temecula Mini Dress automatically found a place in my heart with its simply fluttery feminine bell sleeves starting right at the wrist. It’s almost hard to find a shorter bell sleeve now days, but this one is just the right length hitting at your knuckles. It won’t get accidentally dragged in your dinner, and it doesn’t take away from the gorgeous embroidery of the fabric either. The embroidery of this dress is impeccable. The flowers are so sweet and add a fun flirty vibe. They also make the look transitional so you can take it from fall to spring. BONUS: I’m wearing it in purple, but if that isn’t your color it’s available in blue, white, and peach too! I’m petite, so mini dresses typically fit me just right, and every once in a while I’ve gotta add one to my wardrobe, especially one as special as this. When it’s a bit colder outside I like to pair this mini with a pair of opaque tights and boots to really polish off the look. It’s pretty much the only thing I want to wear right now.
